Scripture: Luke6:1-11
Have you ever gone on a great vacation and came home absolutely exhausted? Often times our level of fatigue has very little to do with how much work we are doing or not doing, and a lot to do with our perpective about who is actually at work. The Pharisees thought that they could make people rest. They thought that if they required that each person take a day without work, that rest would be ensured. But, we all know that isn't true. In this passage Jesus points us to a deeper truth: our rest is determined by who we believe is really in charge.
